These units have two modes of operation: Auto Sensitivity and Manual Sensitivity. The latter gives slightly different results, but both require the user to adjust the sonar sensitivity manually. In Auto Sensitivity Mode, the unit automatically adjusts to a solid bottom signal for better accuracy and power to show fish. For manual sensitivity settings, turn off auto sensitivity, press the ENSITIVITY button, and press the desired sensitivity level.
