Wilderness Systems Tarpon 140

The Tarpon Angler series of fishing kayaks from Wilderness Systems is a true gem. It should be since the standard recreational Tarpon kayak is one of the best ranked sit-on-top kayaks. In fact, it received the 2008 Sea Kayaker Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Award for Best Sit-on-top Kayak. So, what’s difference between the Tarpon and Tarpon Angler? For the most part they are about the same. But, the Tarpon Angler fishing kayak comes with two flush mount rod holders behind the seat, a Scotty removable rod holder (for the SlideTrax mounting system) and an anchor (with storage bag).
